Baku. Agha Jafarli – APA. Armenian armed forces violated ceasefire with Azerbaijan 682 times in March 2015.
According to the results of the APA’s monitoring based on the reports confirmed by the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry, the Armenian army suffered heavy losses over the past month. About 30 Armenian soldiers were killed by Azerbaijani armed forces during frontline battles.
Four Azerbaijani servicemen were killed, while another died of acute heart and respiratory failure during the reporting period.
Moreover, one Armenian serviceman voluntarily crossed into Azerbaijan.
The Armenian Army used mortars and large-caliber machineguns on the frontline during the reporting period.
The highest number of ceasefire violations in March was recorded in the Aghdam part of the frontline, with a total of 222 times.
In the directions of Fuzuli, Terter, Khojavend, Goranboy, Jabrayil, Gedebey, Tovuz, Gazakh, Aghstafa and Goygol districts, the ceasefire was shattered 138, 67, 50, 66, 41, 26, 21, 16, 6 and 3 times respectively.
Armenian armed forces violated ceasefire with Azerbaijan 625 times in February.
