Baku. 15 April. REPORT.AZ/ The world's first and only private museum of miniature books that is located near "Shirvanshakhlar palace" in the area of "Old City" (Baku), kicked off on April 2, 2002. The museum was established on the base of unique collection collected by Zarifa Salahova over 20 years.
The museum exhibits are placed on 27showcases. 5600 miniature books published in 67 countries put on display. 3 micro-books on display in the exhibition are rare.
The smallest microscopic book is in a size of 075mm x 075mm with 22 pages at the museum. The book was published by "Toppan Printing" the publishing house in Japan in 2012.
