Elnur Huseynov is Azerbaijan’s choice for the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest. He was internally selected by the Azerbaijani broadcaster İctimai Television, ITV. On stage in Vienna, the singer will perform his mystical contemporary ballad Hour Of The Wolf.
This year’s Azerbaijani representative, Elnur Huseynov is no stranger in the Eurovision Song Contest. He has already written the history of his country’s participation - in 2008, Elnur was selected as Azerbaijan's first ever representative in Europe’s favourite TV show as a part of Elnur & Samir duo. With their song Day After Day, the singers reached the eighth place in the Grand Final in Belgrade.
In this year’s Contest, Elnur will have a unique opportunity to show off his talent as a professional artist with his new song Hour Of The Wolf, composed by Nicolas Rebscher, Nicklas Lif, Lina Hansson. The lyrics were written by Sandra Bjurman, Nicolas Rebscher, Nicklas Lif and Lina Hansson.
Since the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest, Elnur has been working hard on his music career. For a few seasons he was a resident artist at the Azerbaijan State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre and at the State Philharmonic Hall. He has also played the part of Phoebus in Azerbaijan's version of the famous musical Notre-Dame de Paris.
On the 18th of February, 2015, Elnur won the fourth season of Turkish version of the international vocal talent show The Voice (O Ses Türkiye). In the final battle he has set up a record in the televoting history of the show by collecting over a million votes.
