Moscow. Farid Akbarov – APA. Vladimir Putin's visit to Yerevan on April 24 to commemorate the 100-year anniversary of the so-called Armenian genocide will not harm relations with Turkey and the construction of the Turkish Stream pipeline, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
Peskov said there are developed historical ties between Russia and Turkey, noting the existence of a very strong base in mutual economic cooperation with Turkey.
“Our positions on many global problems coincide,” he stressed.
He then mentioned Armenia’s neighborhood with Russia, adding that there are many factor connecting his country with Armenia.
Note that, the Kremlin issued a statement today that President Vladimir Putin will make a visit to Armenia on April 24 to attend events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the so-called Armenian genocide.
