Baku. Ulker Bekirli – APA. Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov met with Latvian Prime Minister Laimdota Straujuma as apart of his visit to Latvia.
APA reports quoting The Baltic-course that the Prime Minister stressed the strategic importance of Azerbaijan in further development of the European Union's Eastern Partnership relations.
Discussing the bilateral relations between Latvia and Azerbaijan, the two sides highlighted the dynamics observed, expanding the cooperation in the field of economics.
