Baku, Azerbaijan, Apr.15
By Fatih Karimov – Trend: Ebrahim Karkhanei, chairman of the Iranian parliament’s nuclear committee, has published details about the Iranian version of fact sheet on the nuclear accord with the P5+1 group.
The fact sheet has emphasized the need to observe 13 issues as the main policies of the Islamic Republic regarding the nuclear accord, Iran ’s Fars news agency reported on April 15.
Observing the red lines outlined by the Supreme Leader, reversibility of decisions if the other side does not meet obligations, and lifting of sanctions outright on the first day after the deal are the most important factors in the fact sheet.
It also underlines the need to protect national security and interests, keep a logical and equitable proportion between what the country gives and what it takes, and meet requirements of the Geneva deal.
Supplying 190,000 SWUs of nuclear fuel, providing the Bushehr nuclear power plant with fuel immediately after signing deal with Russia, safeguarding the country’s nuclear achievement, actual operating of all nuclear facilities, continuing technological and scientific research, and making use of the researches in the nuclear enrichment activities are other issues which have been stressed on in the fact sheet.
It was previously announced that Iran has prepared its version of the nuclear accord fact sheet, detailing Iran ’s recent nuclear framework agreement with world powers, and will publish it if necessary.
Less than 24 hours after Iran and the P5+1 reached a mutual understanding over Tehran 's nuclear program, a US fact sheet detailing parameters for a joint comprehensive plan of action was published.
Iran says the US fact sheet does not reflect the truth and is a mix of right and wrong.
It should be noted that the latest talks by Iran and the P5+1 ended in a framework agreement on April 2. The negotiating sides issued a final statement at the end of the 8-day talks, which clarified the objectives of a final deal that is to be reached by July 1.
