Baku. Agha Jafarli – APA. Assets of the Azerbaijan Armed Forces Assistance Fund have risen by AZN 842,555 over the last month.
As of 1 March 2015, capital assets of the Fund’s AZN account made 62,495,671, while the USD and Euro accounts made 211,791 and 593 respectively, the Defense Ministry said on April 1.
No assets were added to the Fund’s USD, euro and ruble accounts.
Note that, the Armed Forces Assistance Fund was established under an order issued by the President of Azerbaijan on August 17, 2002. The Fund is formed on the basis of voluntarily donations of individuals and legal entities and at the expense of the other donations not prohibited by the laws of Azerbaijan.
