Baku. Konul Kamilqizi – APA. The Cabinet of Ministers has adopted a decision on the duration of the current academic year in connection with the Baku-2015 first European Games, which will begin on June 12, Minister of Education Mikayil Jabbarov told reporters.

According to the order, all lessons as well as examinations at high schools and colleges will conclude by late May, said the minister.

 

“It was a pre-arranged step. Directors of high schools, colleges and secondary schools as well as pupils and students had information about it in advance. The public are informed about everything,” the minister added.

 

In his remarks on the last bell events, the minister said the issue is left to educational institutions to decide.

 

“However, an order will be signed in this respect in May. That decision will settle all issues of the last bell,” he noted.
