Azerbaijani Energy Minister Natig Aliyev has received the delegation led by the Minister of Economic Development of the Italian Republic Federica Guidi, on April 16. The sides noted successful development of mutual ties, stressed that the friendship relations between the two countries base on the principles of mutual interest.
According to the Ministry of Energy, the meeting discussed great potential of two countries and the important role of business forums, business meetings and other events with the participation of entrepreneurs of both sides to boost economic relations.
Informing about the economy of Azerbaijan, Mr. Aliyev stressed that Azerbaijan is a country with sustainable economic development, which is a reliable partner in ensuring energy security of Europe and participant in regional energy and transport projects.
The Italian Minister expressed satisfaction with the visit and noted the necessity of efficient use of the existing potential for expansion of economic ties between Azerbaijan and Italy, the importance of expanding ties between business leaders, directions of development of economic relations.
The sides expressed confidence on expanding mutually beneficial cooperation in the coming years.
