Baku. Malahat Najafova – APA. There was no Azerbaijani on the board of Airbus A320 crashed in France, spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Hikmet Hajiyev told APA.

Hajiyev said the German Foreign Ministry told the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Germany that there was no Azerbaijani citizen on the board of the crashed aircraft. “However, the investigation is underway.”

 

Airbus A320 of Germanwings company, flying from Barcelona to Düsseldorf, crashed in southeastern France on March 24. The death toll of the accident reached 150. There were citizens of Germany, Spain, Kazakhstan, Argentina, the United States, Colombia, Mexico, Belgium, Morocco, Australia, Denmark and Japan among the passengers.
