Shaki. Vugar Heydarov – APA. 76-year-old man axed his 68-year old wife to death in Shaki.
Shaki City District Police Office told APA’s Shaki-Zagatala bureau that the incident occurred in Bash Goynuk village at about 22:00 yesterday.
Islam Zakariya Abduyev, born in 1939, axed his wife Iraye Mammad Mammadova, born in 1947, in the head as a result of family dispute. Abduyev was detained.
Shaki District Prosecutor’s Office has launched a criminal case on the fact, investigation is underway.
