Baku – APA. By bringing up the issue of sending peacekeeping forces to Donbass, Kiev is seeking to evade from fulfilling the political part of the Minsk agreements, said Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, APA reports citing RIA Novosti.
However, Lavrov outlined that Moscow stands ready to participate in the discussion of this issue if the conflict sides are interested.
“In order to observe the fulfillment of the agreements, the conflict parties need to agree on forms acceptable to both of them,” said Lavrov.
Asked if Moscow is ready to consider sending a peacekeeping mission to Ukraine, the minister said, “Only if the conflict sides are interested…To be honest, we are not against considering any proposal. But it’s necessary to talks with the conflict parties over this matter”.
