Baku-APA. "Regarding all the positive issues related to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the Armenian leadership followed a negative response", the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Hikmet Hajiyev said commenting on the speech of Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian at the OSCE Permanent Council.

Hikmet Hajiyev noted that the Foreign Minister of Armenia still does not realize that the fundamental basis of 40-year-old Helsinki Final Act make it the territorial integrity and sovereignty of states and inviolability of internationally recognized State border, as well as the unacceptability of change internationally recognized State border through the use of power: "In Nalbandian’s speech there is no any opinion about conflict resolution and peace and stability in the region except unsubstantiated claim”.

 

“To eliminate the aggression and occupation by Armenia, the fundamental basis of the conflict, Nalbandian first of all, should clarify the question of the withdrawal of Armenian armed forces from the occupied territories of Azerbaijan”, - . the spokesperson of the Ministry said.

 

“I would like to remind Nalbandian, who violated diplomatic ethics distorted statements made by the OSCE Minsk Group, the main appeal the OSCE Minsk Group, announced at the presidential level, this is unacceptable status quo. The basis of the current status quo is occupation and aggression by Armenia”, he said.
