Moscow will host the CIS international economic forum “Integration – new opportunities and ways to solve the crisis” on 13 March, the CIS Executive Committee reported.
Participants of the forum will discuss some particular issues of the development of the economic cooperation between the CIS member states. The event will be divided into the following sections: “International transport corridors and hubs”, “Energy efficiency and energy conservation. Innovative projects”, “Single currency in the Eurasian space: myth or reality? Prospects of monetary and financial integration in the CIS”, and “Support for small and medium-sized businesses in the economic space of the CIS and the Eurasian Union”. An exhibition of projects by the participants of the forum “Presentation of Opportunities” will be held as part of the event.
Besides, the Forum’s program includes a number of informal meetings dedicated to the topic “Development of the business climate in the CIS: priorities and prospects”. The organizers of the international event will also announce results of the contests “Business leader of the CIS” and “Leader of economic integration” and present prizes to the winners.
The forum will be organized by the CIS Business Center for Economic Development with the support of the CIS Executive Committee.
Partaking in the event will be members of the CIS Economic Council, heads of the CIS Executive Committee, experts, representatives of government bodies, investment organizations and banks of the CIS member states, the CIS Economic Court, and the Eurasian Economic Union Court.
