Baku. Malahat Najafova – APA. “The Israeli government’s position regarding this issue is very clear and remains unchanged”, Ambassador of Israel to Azerbaijan Rafael Harpaz said while commenting on the issue of recognition of the so-called Armenian genocide.

The Ambassador said that he regards those events as a tragedy.

 

With regard to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the diplomat said that Israel’s position regarding this issue remains unchanged. “We believe in a peaceful solution to the conflict. We support the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs’ efforts to establish peace in the region. We recognize the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan", said the Ambassador.
