Azerbaijan`s female wrestler wins gold at European Under-23 Championship

Azerbaijani female wrestler Alyona Kolesnik at 55 kg has claimed gold medal at the European Under-23 Championship underway in the Polish city of Walbrzych.

On the way to final, she faced Estonian, Swiss and Belarusian rivals.

She secured the medal thanks to a victory over Bulgarian athlete in the final.

The 4th day of the championship will see competition of female wrestlers in the 53, 58, 63 and 75 kg weight categories.
