Azad Rahimov: 30 to 50 Armenian sportspersons expected to participate in Baku-2015 First European Games

Moscow. Farid Akbarov – APA. “30 to 50 Armenian sportspersons are expected to participate in the Baku-2015 First European Games,” Azerbaijani Minister of Youth and Sports Azad Rahimov said at the press conference dedicated to the Baku-2015 First European Games in Moscow, APA’s Moscow correspondent reported.
Answering a question about Armenian athletes’ security, the minister said an Olympic village has been created to ensure the maximum security of sportspersons: “So there’s no need for extra security measures”.
Asked which heads of state are invited to the opening of the European Games, A. Rahimov said only the dukes of Luxembourg and Monaco have confirmed their participation in the opening: “A total of 20 heads of state are expected to participate”.
