Baku – APA. The first batch of armored Humvees from the U.S. arrived to Ukraine today, APA reports quoting Censor.Net.
10 armored Humvees arrived from the United States to Boryspil airport today as military aid from the United States to our army. The welcoming ceremony was attended by President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko. Then the equipment will be transferred to the Ukrainian military. Ukraine is to receive a total of 230 U.S. armored vehicles.
Poroshenko said that remaining 220 armored vehicles would be delivered to Ukraine within 45 days. He expressed gratitude to the U.S. for assistance in resolving the Donbass conflict.
