Putin to visit Armenia on April 24

Moscow. Farid Akbarov - APA. President of Russia Vladimir Putin will pay a visit to Armenia on April 24 at the invitation of Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan to attend the events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the so-called Armenian genocide, the Kremlin said, APA’s Moscow correspondent reported.   

"As part of the visit, the meeting of the presidents of Russia and Armenia will be held that will discuss the issues of bilateral agenda, cooperation in integration associations and also topical regional and international issues," the Kremlin says.

On April 24, Turkey will host a solemn ceremony on the 100th anniversary of Canakkale Victory. At the event, Russia will be represented by Sergey Naryshkin, Chairman of the State Duma.
