Parliamentarians opposed to the announcement of one minute silence to so called “Armenian Genocide”

Georgian MPs of Azerbaijani origin have opposed to the announcement of one minute silence to so-called “Armenian genocide” by MP Samvel Petrosyan, APA’s Georgian bureau reports.

“The issue on recognition of so-called “Armenian genocide” was raised at Georgian parliament many times, but it was rebuffed by both government and opposition parties distinctly. The same scene was repeated today as well. From parliament majority Gubad Sanikidze as well as opposition MP Nugzar Tsikulauri have noted that to raise this issue at the parliament once again is not correct.”
