OSCE: Co-Chairs discussed possibility of presidential meeting later this year

Baku. Malahat Najafova – APA. The Co-Chairs gave their quarterly briefing to Minsk Group members March 31st in Vienna, the OSCE's press service told APA.
They provided an assessment of the current tensions along the Line of Contact and Armenia-Azerbaijan border, and highlighted their recent diplomatic efforts with the sides. The Co-Chairs discussed the possibility of a presidential meeting later this year and the need for the sides to enter into a negotiation that can lead to a comprehensive peace agreement. The Co-Chairs also emphasized the role Minsk Group members and OSCE Participating States could play in supporting confidence-building measures and people-to-people programs.
