Dmitry Rogozin: Russian-Azerbaijani relations are on the rise

In his words, Azerbaijani traders are actively supplying Russia with fruits and vegetables. He added that the two countries were discussing the opening of a service center for Russian helicopters exploited in Azerbaijan. The sides cooperate in shelf exploration, shipbuilding and development of the Caspian Region.

Overall, according to the vice prime minister, the relations are based on trust, mutual understanding and common approaches in many international issues. In light of the sanctions, Rogozin goes on, Azerbaijan acted as a reliable and serious ally. The official added that he was co-chairing the Russian-Azerbaijani commission for socio-economic and scientific and technical cooperation. Rogozin concluded that he is on good terms with the Aliyev family and could not miss the opportunity to see the presentation of the Baku European Games.
