Azerbaijan sees 5.3% rise in Q1 GDP production

Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu – APA-Economics. Gross Domestic Products in Azerbaijan rose 5.3% to AZN 11.5 bln in January-March, 2015.
State Statistical Committee says the value added formed in the non-oil sector rose 7.0%, in the oil sector – 3.4%.
34.7% of GDP was produced in industry, 12.5% in construction, 11.9% in trade and repair of motor vehicles, 6.2% in transport and storehouses, 3.0% in agriculture, forestry and fishery, 3.1% in tourist accommodation and catering services, 2.2% in information and communication, and 16.2% in social and other services.
Net taxes to production and import made 10.2% of GDP.
