Azerbaijan removes one more person's name from list of "undesirable persons"

Baku. 13 April. REPORT.AZ/ A Georgian citizen, a writer David Turashvili sent a letter to Azerbaijani

Ministry of Foreign Affairs

for removing his name from the list of "undesirable persons" prepared by MFA. He violated the law "On the State Border" by illegally visiting Azerbaijani occupied territories and his name was included in the list.


Report was told by the head of the press service of Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Hikmet Hajiyev.


David Turashvili noted in the letter that his visit was accidental and unbiased and did not have a nature of disrespect for Azerbaijan's territorial integrity, sovereignty or for its laws. He asked to cancel the decision on inclusion his name into the list of "undesirable persons" as an exceptional case.


David Turashvili's appeal was considered and the decision on removing his name from "undesirable persons" list was made.
