Azerbaijan, Georgia discuss prospects for military cooperation

Azerbaijan’s Defence Minister, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov has met Georgian counterpart Mindia Janelidze to discuss prospects for military cooperation.

The ministers stressed the strategic importance of negotiations and meetings between the two countries.

The meeting focused on the issues related to the development of military cooperation, experience exchange and staff training.

The ministers also exchanged views on the military-political situation in the region and other issues of mutual interest.
