Sweden MFA: Events such as so-called elections should not prejudice peaceful settlement of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict

Baku. Malahat Najafova – APA. As stated by the European Union on previous occasions of so-called elections in Nagorno-Karabakh, such events should not prejudice the peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
The Foreign Ministry of Sweden, a member of the OSCE Minsk Group, responded to APA’s question on the so-called parliamentary elections to be held by the separatist Nagorno-Karabakh regime on May 3.
Sweden supports the Minsk group and the efforts of the three co-chairs toward a settlement of the conflict, and calls on the parties to redouble their efforts to find a negotiated solution to the conflict, the Foreign Ministry noted.
