Iran must reach solution in nuclear talks, FM says
Baku, Azerbaijan, Mar. 18
By Fatih Karimov – Trend:
Iran’s foreign minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said, “we should reach a solution” in the nuclear talks.
He added that foreign ministers are not likely to attend this round of talks, which will be held in Lausanne, Switzerland, Iran’s Fars news agency reported March 18.
I hope that progress will be made with political will, he said.
Iran Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said on March 15 that during the talks, the country hopes to eliminate the main controversies with the United States.
“We still have big controversies and big gaps, and let us see if we can remove them,” he said.
“We have achieved some progress in the last rounds of the talks,” Araqchi added. “Let us see if we can do that again this time.”
This round of talks is expected to last until March 19.
