Gordon Birrell: “BP has invested $10 bln in Shah Deniz Stage 2 project”

Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu - APA-Economics. BP has invested $10 bln in Shah Deniz Stage 2, the regional president of BP in Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey Gordon Birrell told Financial Times newspaper, APA-Economics reports.  

“BP has invested $10 bln in the development project of Shah Deniz Azerbaijani gas condensate field, Birrell said.

The regional president noted that $10-12 bln of $45 bln to be invested in the development of field and 3,500 m-pipe to be constructed from Azerbaijan to Italy will fall to share of SOCAR and Azerbaijani government.
