Earthquke revised to 7.7-magnitude quake in 54km SE of Kokopo, Papua New Guinea

Baku-APA. An earthquake measuring 7.7 on the Richter scale jolted 54km SE of Kokopo, Papua New Guinea at 2015-03-29 23:48:34 GMT on Sun, the U.S. Geological Survey said, APA reports quoting Xinhua.

The epicenter, with a depth of 65.65 km, was initially determined to be at 4.7457 degrees south latitude and 152.56 degrees east longitude.
