Minister: Education process, examinations at all educational institutions to end by May 31

Education Minister Mikayil Jabbarov said the education process and examination sessions at all educational institutions – general education, higher and secondary vocational education schools – will be concluded by May 31, APA reported.

He said it is gratifying that the holding of the European Games are welcomed by pupils and students.

“Tens of thousands of volunteers from the education area have joined to show support and contribute to the Games. It is gratifying. In this regard, we are ready to offer necessary support to both volunteers and relevant educational institutions. All members of the education field – education seekers and all those receiving education – are invited to more actively participate in the European Games. This is a major event in Azerbaijan’s sports history and social life,” said the minister.

Note that, the working hours in Baku were modified yesterday under the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers. But these changes will not apply to those who work in shift and educational institutions.
