Interior Ministry carries out special operation in Balakan, several persons detained

Baku. Hafiz Heydarov – APA. In a special operation, the Interior Ministry's Anti-Narcotics Department has detained up to 10 people engaging in drug trafficking, discovering and seizing a large amount of narcotics from the detainees, law enforcement authorities told APA.
The Balakan District Police Department also confirmed to APA that an operation was carried out but did not elaborate on details.
“The Interior Ministry will release an official statement on the operation,” said the police department.
