First lunar eclipse of 2015 begins

Baku. Konul Kamilqizi – APA. The first lunar eclipse of 2015 has begun.
According to APA, the moon will move into the Earth’s shadow from the north. The eclipse, beginning at 3:17 pm, will reach its maximum at 5:02 pm and end at 6:45 pm. The natural phenomena will last for 3 hours and 28 minutes and be observed in Asia, Australia, the Pacific Ocean and America, while observers in Azerbaijan will not see it.
Note that, two eclipses of the sun and the moon will occur this year. The first solar eclipse was seen on March 20 and the next will occur on September 13. And the first lunar eclipse will be observed on April 4 and the next on September 28.
