Two Azerbaijani citizens evacuated from Yemen

Baku. Malahat Najafova - APA. Two Azerbaijani citizens - Jafarov Rustam and his wife Marina Valerina - were evacuated from Yemen by Russian plane on April 2.
Second Secretary of the Azerbaijani embassy in Saudi Arabia, as well as accredited in Yemen, Consul Emil Gasimzade told APA.
He said that other seven Azerbaijanis are waiting at Sana airports.
“They will likely be evacuated today either through Russia or Turkey. The embassy keeps this issue in the spotlight. No one, except the nine people, applied to quit Yemen,” Gasimzade added.
