Shortage of cash dollars occurred in Baku exchange offices
Baku. 8 April. REPORT.AZ/ Today at the most currency exchange offices located in the center of Baku, was a deficit of cash dollars. At some points the euro cash ended.
According to the survey, provided by Report News Agency, in most currency exchange offices of Zaminbank, United Credit Bank, Atrabank, Azər-Türk Bank, NBC Bank, AG Bank cash dollars has already ended before 15:00 Baku time. Monitoring of the territory near the metro "May 28" showed that although there is no such queues, as in the second decade of February, but there is a revival compared to previous days. Some items, which ended in dollars, today suspended the activities in some areas also noted they restore activity in the coming hours.
For example, a currency exchange office No.23 of Turanbank currently closed due to lack of cash dollars. In Baku branch of 'Azər-Türk Bank' at the moment no dollars, but it is possible to carry out sale-purchase of euros. In the currency exchange No.24 of Zaminbank also missing dollars, but you can buy dollars in currency exchange office No.26. The point at which ended dollars, restore work for one hour. In the point No.9 of the bank remained 5000 dollars.
In the currency exchange of Atrabank due to the large number of clients remained only 3-4 thousand dollars.
In the currency exchange No.3 of UnitedCreditBank said that, at the moment there are no dollars and euros, trade restored within one hour. In exchange point No.22 of this bank trade is conducted in dollars without any restrictions.
In the central office of Kapital Bank there are long queues. Most customers are waiting in line for cash dollars. Rate for the dollar here is at 1,0480 AZN / USD, sale - 1,0650 AZN/USD.
In the currency exchange No.1 of NBC Bank said that, the cash dollars run out in the morning, there were only euros.
Althought, in exchange offices of Mugan Bank sold dollars, but Report was said that the demand for dollars has increased dramatically: "This morning, after the opening of the point for two hours, we sold 10 thousand dollars."
In the department of foreign exchange AG Bank, located in Ya
samal district, there was a shortage of dollars, and in the morning a large number of customers were unable to buy dollars.
The survey revealed that, today in most currency exchange offices of the capital dollar selling rate reached the maximum permitted level (1,0727 AZN/USD). Along with this, the rate for the dollar in the population reached its lowest level (1,0307 AZN/USD). Recall that in determining the rate of purchase and sale must be considered permissible margin of +/- 2%.
Analytical Group of Report News Agency believes, desire of the population to buy dollars and in some cases the reluctance of bankers to sell cash currency associated with the probability of rise in the dollar rate: "Because of the expectations of an increase in the dollar, no one wants to sell currency at a cheap price. Due to our forecasts, by the end of the year the official exchange rate will be 1,5 AZN/USD ".
